The Venetian VS Venezia tower

We're going on a family trip and we decided to try the Venetian and now we're stuck again on another decision. =P

They're actually the same price but...

What's the difference between these two?

and which one is the better deal??

Another quick question on booking:

If you reserve for 2 people but actually have 4 people staying... do you get away with it?? heehee

Hmmm..I like the original Venetian tower. The other one is so far away from the Casino and the action ...really so late at night..lol........the other question!!! Just pay for the other two people...then you get four key cards and towels etc. The only time I have four in the room is when I am comped...and I tell them up front that there will be four..Not worth the sneaking around and lying if you ask me...pony up...Slotto

When we stayed there a while back, the Security team was checking room keys for all members of the party, before getting on the elevators. Is it really worth sneaking some people in, with the possibility that they may well be denied access when they don't have a key, not to mention, getting reported to the staff. Then you would be looking at some substantial additional charges on your bill, at check-out.

Both have very nice suites and have about the same amount of anemities. The real difference is atmosphere, the Venezia is quieter and farther from the casino action. In the Venezia you feel like your in a different hotel/casino all together. If you choose the Venezia, there is an option to upgrade your suite to the conicierge lounge level where theres complimentary breakfast, tea, and dinner and assistance from the concierge.

Another difference if it matters is the remodeled Venetian rooms don't have the sofabed. Only Venezia and Palazza are offering it. There's still a couch just not pull out.

We've stayed at Venezia a few times and never had to show more than 1 key for 3 of us. I paid for the 3rd person but that was to ensure getting the double bed as opposed to 1 king.

Another important point to consider is that all of the rooms in the Venetian tower have been renovated and are similar to the Palazzo's styling. Venezia's rooms have yet to be updated so in a pure room to room comparision, the Venetian rooms will be fresher and look more attractive. Venezia is a separate tower with a separate check-in so the walkways are going to be quieter. The lobby areas of Venezia are beautiful though. Their rooms will either face south or north towards the venezia pool. The top floors are concierge access will offer additional amenities.
