Will Fremont Street be busy on a monday night?

Hello

Off to Vegas on 11th May

Stopping at Luxor for the week but looking to book 1 night at Golden Nugget to experience downtown.

Was looking to book the Monday but want to go when its busy and when there's an amosphere.

Would a Monday night be ok?

If not, Sunday will probably be the only other day we could do. Will that be a better night?

Thanks for your responses in advance.

It's always fun and busy in the evenings on Fremont Street. Fridays and Saturdays are busier than other nights but it's invariably hopping there regardless of when you go.

I was there on a Monday in September and all the outside stuff at the Fremont Street Experience closed pretty early. The street emptied out. Really killed the vibe.

We usually stay downtown when we go to Vegas. Most of our trips are S-F or M-F weekday trips. Time of the year seems to be more important than day of the week as far as how busy it will be. When we have been there in July or August, there was much more activity than when we go in December or January. Our last trip (this past January) was a Saturday - Tuesday trip. There were no shows on the stages on any of those nights, so it was not as crowded as we have seen it (on weeknights) in the summer time where there is a free show on ever stage.

Usually, the weekends are a little busier and there's more stuff going on, but that's the great thing about Downtown. For the most part, it's never as busy and crowded and crazy as the Strip!!

To put it simply: It will not be busy on a Sunday or Monday night. The difference is pretty dramatic from the weekend.

I would also just take a cab to Fremont street and spend an evening there rather than have the hassle of checking out and going into another hotel. You can gamble at the casinos, there are places to eat and bars to drink.

We took the Deuce to Fremont St last Monday. We had a great time and the show was awesome. I however would not want to spend a night there. We were there for about 5 hours and had dinner and that was plenty of time.
