Mirage Resort Charge

Does anyone know if the $20 per night resort charge includes access to the pool?

The pool access is still part of the room rate. The $20 covers other things like internet and cardio room access.

i dont think you have to pay to use the pool unless its the bare pool. That pool i think they charge to use.

You always had free access to the regular pool. (Not Bare).

Hotel resort fee inclusions:

Internet access in guestroom

Phone calls (local)

Faxes (incoming/outgoing)

Newspaper (daily)

Use of fitness center or health club

Use of business center/computer

MrTwonky, it's not a con. Resort fees are totally transparent during the booking process. By all means stay at a hotel that doesn't have a fee if you feel strongly about this, but don't feel you've been tricked in some way.

As has been said, use of the pool is nothing to do with the resort fee.

The resort fee also includes bath robes, which I kinda like.

As Blagger has said there is nothing shady or tricky about the fee...it is all there in black and white when you book.

MrTwonky: No offence, but you agreed to pay a fee without even knowing what it was for, and you think they are conning you? Maybe it wouldn't be that hard to do.

Dear All,

Thanks for all your replies and of course your right I should have been more aware of where i'm going.

Still looking forward to a great time and putting the $154 +tax to the back of our minds.

Resort fees may not be a "con" but they sure are a shady tactic to offering a great "low" rate.
