Using Total Rewards "Free Room Offer"...

September 28th thru October 2 is date of stay..

Offers:

Free the whole stay at Imperial Palace

Free at Ballys and Flamingo and Harrahs for Wed, Thursday---47.00 a night for Friday Saturday..

(There are other offfers free for 2 nights at PH,and RIo but the weekend nights are higher in cost)

unplanned for, thrown together trip for those few days with several couples. Will likely not be in room very long..

Flamingo is out..it was just plain not good last stay.

Harrahs or Ballys is my choice currently as we have not stayed there before..nor have we stayed at Imperial but we do like to gamble in there..

I know the "free rooms" are not top notch..but which would stay is more acceptable?

(we have been staying at NYNY or Excalibur ..we have also stayed at Bills and Venetian in the past as well as Flamingo and even out at Sams Town 1 stay and Fitzgeralds downtown..so we are all over the place..flexible!)

Thanks for your advice..

As well as checking your TR offers, have you also checked the general availability calendar that shows all CET hotels for your dates after logging into your TR account?

Sometimes the comps shown on the calendar are more generous than those in your actual offers. I have a comped room coming up at Caesars that way - it didn't appear in any offer in my account.

My husband said he would check into that also when he got home..points are on his card..

He also checks the other properties not part of the total rewards..but maybe the "M" card or something..I dont know all the acronyms! LOL...

He said we do have a few nights somewhere else too, but I honestly dont know where..wait..I think he said MGM properties..where it seems we typically stay..

would like more mid strip this time due to having other couples..some newbies.

But as you see ..we are flexible and have fun anywhere we are!

I agree with blagger. Also: If your companion has a card, you can add it and probably improve you offers. It's worth a try. It helped me.

Also: You didn't mention Paris. I would consider it. Of the ones you mentioned, I'd pick Ballys.

Did you like Bills? Why didn't you like Flamingo? We are staying there currently in a GO ROOM Strip View. But I had thought about Bills but I am afraid the street noise might be to much for me. I am very sensitive to noise when I am sleeping and need the area around me to be very quiet.

CET TR user here, too, and Blagger is right.....usually better deals by logging into your account and checking online.

Of the hotels you mention I would choose Bally's and I often do.

For some odd reason..I have been wanting to try Ballys...nothing special about the place but being connected to Paris is good..

Thanks for all your input so far. Very much aprreciated and I most definately will have my husband "log in" to see if there are any offiers..

Paris is on the the list...for 87.00, 87.00 127.00 and 67.00 p night...since Ballys works out about 250.00 less for the 4 night stay...hmmm..if it weren;t so close to just returning 2 weeks ago from Florida..and I had more planning time..I would def consider this offer..but..I dont mind accepting lesser cost options !!

As far as Bills goes..Great rooms really, spacious,, small bathroom if I remember right but light sleeper..no go, at least on the street side. I am not a light sleeper and I had trouble w theSIRENS, honking cars, loud exhaust etc..but maybe I just didn't drink enough! LOL..I have been advised you can stay on the "parking garage side" of the building for less noise, no view. However..I loved being able to get to the room so quickly and really, our room was very nice..

miapele--regarding Flamingo..we had stayed there our first visit to Vegas..and were excited to be there, so overlooked a lot of stuff! Second time we came, we decided that was enough..We however, have not stayed in the updated Go Rooms and I think they look pretty cool..but the basic rooms..not so much... We stayed there again on our most recent visit earlier this year and REALLY decided..not again in the basic room.

You will likely enjoy the room you chose.

I don't mind the Flamingo but for some reason we never win a penny there We leave it all behind!. The hotel has had some for the better changes to the casino/public areas since our first visits and they were working on expanding the Margaritaville casino area last visit.

have a great time!

We usually stay at Ballys and really like it there. Great location, not much of a casino, but it is smaller and we can usually find each other there unlike some of the other ones. Great with a group.

We usually go with a group and find that everyone can find get rooms there at a discount. We stayed at Harrah's once and it was a holiday weekend (Labor Day). Didn't care for the young party crowd that weekend. First time I had seen security literally taking people intoxicated out in wheelchairs! No noise in the room--you don't want one by Carnival Court though if that is where you decide to stay.

If you didn't like Flaming you will hate I/P

A step down from Flamingo

Paris is nice

For 965 you can stay at Venetian \Luxury at its best

Canuck..we have been getting offers from venetian, and I loved it there when we stayed. I just don't think its going to work for this trip..If we win big, we will change locations to Venetian! LOL!

Jarodmom- Thanks for another vote for Ballys of the 3 in question.Maybe something else will come along but it looks like its the winner at this point!

Do any of these offer late nite food..even a fast food court? Does Paris have a 24 hr restaurant? It really surprises me that so many establishments close at the times they do. We have ended up at America in NYNY for many a late night before we crash absorb the liquor food! It's actually pretty good, but if we stay midstrip I am not making that late night trek!

I think Imperial Palace has some greasy spoons open all night?? That I could walk..
