Las Vegas Coupon books??

Good Morning! Was just wondering how many people purchase these prior to their trip to Vegas? I'm sure there are several kinds to be had, but just wanted to hear from those that have purchased them, which one and in their opinions, were they worth it. Any info would be great!

I always get an American Casino Guide for each person I'm in Vegas with. Purchase from amazon.com for @12.00 each.

I use to always buy at least one coupon book before every trip, usually Las Vegas Advisor. Now I look up the listings of ones offered in these books and I can usually google the same coupon for free, not always but majority of the time. Also using tickets 4 tonite has been a great money saver for shows and dinners.

I always get an American Casino Guide. It's not as good as it used to be, but I always use the Silverton Buffet coupon, the $25 off at The Flame coupon, and the free drinks at Ellis Island coupon. Those three make it worth it, and the free slot play coupons are a nice bonus.

The LVA book would be worth it if I wasn't traveling solo, as it has a lot of good 2-for-1 meal coupons.

Another reccomendation for the American Casino Guide, you can buy a copy on ebay, well worth the money, as there are a few buy one get one free dinner and/or buffet coupons. PLUS.... If you also buy an online membership to las vegas advisor (which is also a great value) and get their coupon book, you will have more coupons/savings than you could ever use in one trip! Good Luck & Enjoy...

Best bet is to just buy the ACG booklet direct from their site. (first link in reply #1) It costs $11.75 which is about the same that it costs from a lot of sellers on eBay and Amazon. Except you are guaranteed to have all the coupons and the membership card included.

(I say this because I was looking at one on eBay that was 7.99 on eBay. The seller mentioned that only 5 coupons were taken out - which was fine. He was selling 5 books. I asked him if the membership card was included and he said "no missing". Well, when I've used the ACG coupons, they've asked to see the card, so it would be a guessing game as to which coupons would be accepted and which wouldn't.

I'm buying the book for a relative and don't want to give them coupons they might not be able to use.)

We bought the ACG from Amazon and used a few of the coupons on there. They also handed some out at check-in that we used and found some on the Deuce as well (not sure that we used any as many were the same). Shrinkgirl had posted some downtown coupons too and that's where we got the one for Magnolia's.
