Any feedback good or bad welcome.
Just returned from trip to Vegas, they had the cheapest rentals, booked it 3 days before leaving no CC was required. Car was a new medium seized car that was in excellent condition I will definitely rent from them again. The consolidated car rental center is the way to go, was very fast & efficient. It is only a 7 minute ride, the driver loads & unloads your luggage, they also give you a lot of helpful information. Staff were very friendly & helpful, were not to pushy with their insurance or pre-paid gas. Wait at counter was minimal we arrived at 10:30 PM. Car return was a breeze so was return to Airport on bus, got called on my cell phone as I left with keys in my pocket, but had heard the message on the trip to the airport that if this happened just give keys to the bus driver whom will make sure they are returned, I called staff back & they confirmed receipt. Overall was a great experience, also was the first time renting a car in Las Vegas it beat the long walks between casinos & malls, used the valet parking every time.
My M.O. never changes when renting a car in Vegas... I stay with the national brands(which I have not considered EZ to be as of yet), find the best price usually using a promo code, then I will use Priceline to low-ball the price by 25-50%. Sometimes it works, and sometimes the Priceline price does not beat the deal I already found. I have never paid more than $15/day for a full-sized car in Vegas. EZ would have to be a GREAT deal to compete IMO.
Must be a passionate topic...two people made their first posts ever on TA just to defend this rental agency!Edited: 06 May 2012, 19:30
Sounds legit. To me...........
These must be some Pimp rides. Do you boys have any Cadillac's over at
Used them in Orlando initially. The service was fine and the process was smooth - I was pleasantly surprised. I just returned from Vegas and used EZ due to price and past experience. Not disappointed, no hard up sell amenities, just a nice clean car. Would use again without hesitation.
I've rented with EZ in Vegas. I won't do business with them again. They were VERY pushy.
They pushed HARD for us to buy their insurance. We didn't need it. We knew that we didn't need it. They kept pushing. We kept saying "No thank you."
Then they pushed HARD to get us to upgrade. We didn't want to upgrade. They kept pushing ... and kept pushing ... and kept pushing. We just kept saying, "No thank you."
And then they OVERCHARGED us!! We pointed this out before we signed the invoice. We pulled out a print out of our confirmation from their website. They said, "Yes, the confirmation is an ESTIMATED price." At that point, my GF and I started talking to each other about taking our business elsewhere.
At that point they tore up the old invoice and printed it out at the agreed upon price on the confirmation.
The car we got was fine. It was fairly new, nothing fancy. We put about 100 miles on it and returned it 4 days later. There were no problems.
I'd never use them again. I saved a few dollars but it was not worth it. They were much too difficult to deal with -- and they were not trustworthy.
Used E-Z in April and got mid-size for $9 a day ,saving quite alot over the bigger companies(rented for a week). Nice new car with low miles. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. Up sell no different than any other car rental agency, they're all doing it these days!! Really glad we tried them out.
Had reservation with National. Turned out we could not fit our luggage in teh convertable we reserved. National wanted to charge a silly amount of additional fees even for a smaller non convertible car. Although their website showed highes rates were for converibles.
Saw the EZ Rent A Car desk. Went over and asked about anything I could rent. They rented us a small SUV for $19 a day. I thought that was too good to be true. But took my chances. It was a great experience. NIce clean car. Friendly staff.
Excellent experience all the way around. I would rent from them again
