Free table play

When casinos comp you rooms and send you free play for table games how do you get your money? Is it a coupon that you take to the players club that they give you cash for? Forgive my ignorance!

Depends on the casino. Usually start with the player's club who has a record of the offer, rarely have I seen actual coupons. You are never given cash.

Usually if it's table play it will be in a non-negotiable chip for even money bets or a coupon for the same.

Thanks...I thought cash was a stretch being that the casino had no control of you using it

We got a little free table play at Venetian and got a voucher slip to bring to the table where the dealer exchanged it for chips- I think they were special chips that had to be played once , not instantly redeemable for cash but I'm a little fuzzy on that part- we did win so we were very happy ( that's probably why I'm fuzzy about it.).

Most will be promotional chips but Orleans that must be played until lost. However, the Orleans gave me $100 of regular chips at the cage a few months ago. I was a little surprised and she said people complained they couldn't use the promo chips on slots. She said I could turn around and cash them in if I wanted.
