What to wear....

Hello

I am going Las Vegas for the first time next week with my husband (so excited!). On one of the nights, we are eating at belligio and then going to a show so getting dressed up for that. But I was wondering, on the other nights if we are just walking on the strip and want to go in a few hotels or casinos, what should I wear? Would casual be ok - jeans and a top? If you go in the casinos at night, do you have to be dressed up? On one night we are doing a night tour of Las Vegas, would casual be ok?

Just wondering what to pack :-S

Thanks!

Something you are comfortable in if you are walking - its a long walk between casinos. Evenings will be in the high 50s/low 60s days in the high 70s low 80s. Most lounges will be smart casual and nice jeans are fine. If you want to get dressed up that's always fine but may not be comfortable if you are walking long distances. Enjoy!

Casual is fine for just about everything in Vegas. Only a very few upscale restaurants and the clubs have much of a dress code. Some places will say no athletic wear. The shows, casinos, and walking the strip are 100% anything goes.

I think part of the fun when planning my Vegas trips is deciding what clothes to wear. I like to wear a little nicer clothes than my everyday wear. Nice jeans, capri's, fancier/sexier tops. The weather there is getting nicer now, so the clothes can get thinner (as opposed to sweaters).

Have a great time :)

Few people will be dressed in anything other casual, even for nice restaurants and shows. Where are you dining at The B? Unless one of the top places be aware that most diners will be in jeans, some even in shorts.

Casual is fine most of the time, but dress up for your night out.

Don't worry about what anyone here says or what anyone else in Las Vegas wears. If you get dressed up you will feel special and it will make your night special, and even memorable. You deserve that.

Have a great time.

You might want to take a light jacket or sweater, sometimes the casinos get a little chilly.

Totally agree with ktinca, a nice outfit will make you feel special. Also sorting my wardrobe for Vegas next week. Mainly casual with a couple of nice dresses for nights, but with my most comfortable flat and high shoes. One night we will be having a special celebration, our 30th wedding anniversary so will be dressed in something really nice and casino hopping after our meal. You will see every sort of style in the casinos.... brides, ballgowns, jeans and shorts, so it makes no difference what you wear, you will not be too dressed up or down. Im packing a cardi and a wrap just to layer up for the chilly evenings.

Have a great time and I hope Lady Luck smiles on you :)
