Its available at CVS stores, Walgreens, ABC stores, and Stage Door, just east of the now-closed Bills. Stage Door is probably cheapest, but it you're at Mandalay Bay, that's a long haul.

Oh, though you wanted beer :-).

I usually just buy them one at a time. I think I paid $4 for two 24 oz cans at the Walgreens (?) near MGM.

Also, some beer related fun we discovered last time. At the P.U.B. at Aria (Todd English, I think?) they have a challenge where if you can chug a pint in less than 7 seconds, it is free. We did this numerous times and had a lot of fun with it.

Goldcast and Orleans both have liquor stores on site if I recall. Not cheap but cheaper than the bars.

I usually bring a flask to Vegas and buy a bottle of booze and use it to tie on whatever I get free in the casino. Also, you can stay buzzed for those annoying times you are between a casino and bar. Its

I usually stay further up on the strip and use Stage Door.

I buy a few beers, crack one open, throw the rest in my back pack and go for a stroll down the strip.

1. The bar inside your hotel. 2. Your in-room minibar.

Not sure where you are staying, but the liquor store in the Flamingo is $17.99 for 18 pack of Miller Light. More than other places, I know. But at only $1 a beer, not too bad for strip prices. Sure is a heck a lot cheaper that the "free" $20 beers I've had sitting at a slot!

The shop in the Flamingo is pretty close to hotel prices, but you can use your Total Rewards points to pay for your purchases.

On the Strip, the best bets are CVS, Walgreens and the ABC stores. There are also quite a few little liquor stores tucked into strip malls. All these are going to be at the high end with prices close to $10 for a 12 pack of Bud products.

If you have a car, regular neighborhood grocery stores and liquor stores will have much better prices. I usually hit one of the Lee's Liquors to stock up at much more reasonable prices.

What do you like to do in Vegas. Let me answer that..party. What makes a successful party? A great pregame. Whats make a great pregame? Beer and Liquor.

Point.

Next to researching hotels, you should be researching where and how you will get to that liquor store when you land. Luckily for you, I have included a link to a list that was compiled on TA:

Let this list be your bottle opener to your Samuel Adams. Cheers and stay thirsty my friend :)

There's nothing cheap about ABC stores.
