Thinking about a long weekend at Lake George the weekend in November. Is it worth it? Is there anything to do? I have never been there before but hear great things about it in the summer.
What did you intend to do? Hiking? Exploring by car? Too late for leaf peeping. Many of the activities are warm weather and by Nov many hotels and restaurants will be closed for the season.
Sadly there is not a lot to do in LG in November. It is quiet, many things are closed and as stated the leaf peeping season is past its prime. It is also early for winter activities. As stated above you could consider Saratoga (certainly there is more to do overall there in November) and perhaps drive from Saratoga to LG for a few hours and get a little feel of the lake that way
