Anyone know about Cherryville?

My family and I moved to NC last year. We are looking for a better area. Any info on Cherryville?

Cherryville is in the northwestern part of Gaston Co - near the border with Cleveland and Lincoln. It is really sort of isolated from the rest of the county. Historically, it has been a bit of a closed community. Because of the proximity of agriculture, a significant Hispanic population has recently settled there. The local school has undergone some significant changes in recent years - not for the positive. The landscape is lovely. Most people I know who live there like it, a few acquaintences of mine have moved from there to Kings Mountain area. Best wishes.

I don't know of an area in NC where there isn't a growing hispanic population. Can you explain what you meant about the school changes? Thanks

Discipline in the school has deteriorated. Some of the long-time teachers have left.
