where to eat in or near Burns Lake

Hi, we will be in Burns Lake for 1 night in August (travelling from Prince Rupert direction). Is there somewhere good to eat once we get there or do we need to stop for a meal before this?

Mulvaney's Pub serves standard pub fare - large portions, lots of deep-fried food :-)

Smithers is about 4 hours into your drive from Prince Rupert, not including stops. It's a further 90 minutes or so to Burns (with nothing much to stop for on the way.) So, if you're thinking of stopping here for a meal, I can recommend:

Blue Fin Sushi Bar on Main Street

Rob's Grill on Alfred (just off the bottom of Main Street)

Aspen Inn Riverhouse Restaurant - on the highway, left hand side as you come through town.

The Alpenhorn Pub & Bistro has been very hit and miss for us lately, so I'm not recommending it these days. We have a Boston Pizza here if that is your thing.

There should be a new restaurant open by the time you are coming through - just pass the airport and Lake Kathlyn as you are coming into town - right hand side of the highway - where the Aquabatics store is.
