A new coach service, the A90, is now in operation between Central London and London Southend Airport.
It is designed specifically to plug the gap in the existing train service. One journey leaves the Airport late at night after the last train departure, and one journey leaves Central London in the early morning before the first trains.
The A90 coach from Southend Airport departs from outside the Terminal at 23.45 and after setting down at Stratford Broadway and Liverpool Street Station, arrives at Victoria Coach Station at 01.25.
The A90 coach from Central London departs from Victoria Coach Station (Departures) at 03.15, Liverpool Street (Coach Stop, Bishopsgate) at 03.40 and Stratford (Coach Stop, Great Eastern Road) at 04.05 and arrives at Southend Airport at 05.10.
The fare is £10 each way.
The A90 is operated by The Kings Ferry, and can be pre-booked via the National Express website (The Kings Ferry is a wholly-owned subsidiary of National Express).
