We hoped to beat the "have to have a reservation" reputation of the Waterfront Depot when we stopped into a local bookstore to browse and asked the proprietor where she would eat. She told us that the Ristobar, right across the street from the WD, was owned by the same family and had lower prices but the food was just as good. We tried it and were very satisfied.
Side note: A young chef ran across the street to the Waterfront Depot and came back carrying a container of some kind of sauce. Kind of puts the seal of approval on our choice, right?
