FREE or Cheap entertainment

Is there anything to do at myrtle beach that doesn't cost a ton of money? I know "the beach" but something else my family of four can do that would cost under $40.

We are going to a Pelicans baseball game while we are there. Tickets are between $7-9 - does anyone know if you can get discount tickets at a grocery store?

I'm not sure how old everyone is but a couple years ago we went to Comedy Cabana. It was B1G1F but you do have to purchase 2 drinks/food per person. You have to be around 16 to get in I think.

There are tons of mini-golf courses that you can play for under $40 a night. We golf every night and have a tournament between us (well really it is only between the two boys - parents aren't that good)

On route 17 just south of Murrell's Inlet is Huntington Beach State Park. It's cheap, beautiful and interesting. Surely a different way to explore the beach environment.

$5 Adults, $3 Age 6-15

This park is located across the street from Brookgreen Gardens.

I agree with the Peilcans game. Good value.

Huntingon beach state park is like $15 for a family of 4 and they have a beach, Atalaya castle, and my kids favorite, the potential to see alligators in the wild.
