Snow

We will be in the Black Hills on Sunday and Monday, November 19 and 20 2017 and there is no prediction of snowfall on those days. However, is there any opportunity for my kids to see snow in the higher elevations? If so, where would it be or is it too early in the winter for that?

The northern hills tend to be snowier ... Lead is supposed to get 1-3 inches on Friday. Since the high on Saturday is currently 34, at least a dusting will likely stick around into Sunday provided the forecast doesn't change drastically.

I would keep an eye on the forecast for Lead/Deadwood. You can try looking at these webcams on Sunday morning to decide whether to make a trip!

If you decide to pay Lead a visit, depending on the age of your kids, I recommend the new Sanford Lab visitor center - it's a very cool facility with a neat history.
