Busch Gardens Christmas Town

I went to the Membership Preview yesterday, and it's even better this year! One addition I particularly enjoyed was the Christmas Town Express. It departs from Caribou Station and makes a circle around the park - no stops. There are lots of lights added to the loop it takes, plus on board, Christmas carol singing! Really fun. I saw two shows, Gloria and The Gift of Harmony, as well as a few minutes of O Tannenbaum. All were so good! The theming at The Wilkommenhaus projection show is so well done.

I'm really looking forward to returning a couple of more times and enjoy the signature hot chocolate, cookies, and so many other treats, and the shows!

Thanks for the report Zoey. I can't wait til we go in mid Dec. It's been a yearly tradition for us.

Thanks for this! My family will be visiting the weekend after Xmas. We have a 4 and 7 year old. Can we do this all in one visit? We welcome any advice for first timers.

I answered in your thread, but I will say some planning either before getting to the park or when you arrive will serve you well. Figure out what is a must-do, what would be nice if you have time, and what to skip, ahead of time. The events schedule and the map will be very helpful for planning. https:/… for hours and showtimes

Thanks, Zoey for the report; I'm really looking forward to going!

Now a fair number of older and disabled visitors use the train as transportation throughout the park, so if that's speaking to any of you Dear Readers, keep in mind, as Zoey said, the train is a ride for Christmas Town. Therefore, you might want to carry a walking stick/wheelchair (or rent a scooter at the Park) or be prepared to stay a bit longer if you need to frequently stop and rest. I'll be one of those stop and go people, but it'll give me a chance to sit and take everything in.

Btw, Happy Thanksgiving to all y'all!

The Busch Gardens website is the best place to buy. They are currently running Black Friday specials. https:/…

The Newport News visitor center also has Busch Gardens tickets at a discount. You can call for the price, but you have to get the tickets from them in person. https:/…

Lastly, Groupon sometimes has discounted tickets.
