Does anyone know how the drive is on OH 7, from Triadelphia, WV to Williamstown? Is it a 2-lane road the entire way? Stops in little towns? Speed limit? Is it crazy curvy and up and down, like hwy 50?
Been years since we've made the drive but we ran parts of RT 7 to Wheeling many times. We'd use RT 2 out of Parkersburg to St Mary's before crossing to Ohio side and running RT 7. Then we would cross back over to Moundsville to Wheeling. Road wasn't bad. Not too curvy. No hills. Couple towns but nothing that burned a lot of time.
We eventually started staying on interstate. I77/I70. Few miles longer but drive times almost the same.
Is Rt 7 more scenic? It has little dots on the map!
Thank you for responding.
I enjoy both sides of the river. If you are doing a round trip and like the scenery, take one side there and the other side on the return trip.
