Hi, we are a family traveling with a 11 months old baby, thinking of doing a road trip in the next few days (mid-march) departing from NYC.
We were wondering whether to (1) drive up North to Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Montreal Canada, but it may still be too cold for the baby up north. Or (2) South to the Blue Ridge Parkway (entire route from Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to the Great Smoky Mountains National ParkSmoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina), but not sure which hotel stops to take in between. For either of these trips, we're expecting to drive 3 to 7 hours a day to get from one hotel to another, and we plan to stay 2 nights in each hotel.
Does this sound realistic, or are there any other suggestions? Thanks!
