Snorkel Cruise - AM or PM , Any Chance of Bad Weather?

Hi! We (3 adults, 2 teens) are arriving 7/15 and would like to go on a snorkel cruise. Which is best, AM or PM? We had a HORRIBLE cruise experience on Maui about 5 years ago -- windy, choppy water, everyone got sick. We don't want to pay for that again!! Thanks for your help.

My experience is the morning is always less windy than the afternoon.

Unless you know you all do not get seasick on calm days (but with the boat going up and over gentle swells) get some seasick remedies anyway.

July is normally a calm time of year, so unless we get some southern swells you should be fine. Will you be on the island for a week or so? Maybe wait until you get here and check out the forecast for the ocean and plan around that?

Yes, we will be in Waikoloa for 8 nights. Will that give us time to make reservations? (I've been reading on these forums that some cruise companies book up in advance.) Thanks!
