Trains

Going to alora in november, wanted to go to one of either cordoba, seville or granada, which is the easiest journey, which would be ideal for a day trip.

Should tickets be bought online, is this cheaper, or just turn up.

Are there any reductions for seniors.

Alora to Seville by train is at least 2 hours but very few trains as far as I am aware. I think it would need an overnight in Seville. For seniors using trains you can avail yourself of a Tarjeta Dorada card entitling you to discounts. But card needs to be bought at ticket counter at main station like Malaga Maria Zambrano

Look up times of trains on UK Web

Granada would be very difficult to achieve unless you went back to Malaga and take the ALSA bus.

Don't know if Cordoba is easy but doubt.

Alora is better served by Renfe Cercanias Malaga, www.renfe.com/viajeros/cercanias/malaga/

There are about a dozen trains every day

Only a couple of trains to Ronda and Sevilla stop at Alora
