can you stay poolside for a fee at Wailea hotels?

We are renting a home in Kihei for 5 days. I was wondering if you can pay to enjoy a day at any of the swanky resorts in Wailea and if so what is the going fee? Thanks Donna

I don't believe this option is available at any of the ocean front Wailea Resorts. You might consider booking the lowest category room at the hotel of your choice for the night and then you are able to use the pools for two days: your arrival date and your departure date.

Popular question ... ANSWER: Call them and ask. It is doubtful, but stranger things have happened, and policies change. It may be a day-use fee that includes a room ... or not. Sometimes the answer depends on how full the resort is at the time. Again, no harm in asking. Be prepared to pay for it!

Now, of course, restaurants, shops, spa services ... those kinds of things are generally open to the public and their credit card$.

most will allow you to EAT poolside but not hang out longer than that nor use their pools or spas without you actually being a paying for guest room.

best bet is to call and ask whichever Hotel strikes your fancy.
