40SumTng .... this is what I know as of this date.

Dec. 8th to 24th Aloha Tower Market Place - Holiday Light Trolley

from Aloha Tower Market Place, take a drive for $20 and go enjoy the Honolulu City Lights with an open air trolley. I believe you can get off and walk around Honolulu Hale and see the different exhibits for the children. Don't forget the City's Employee Decorated Xmas Tree in the lobby of City Hall.

There is also another open air trolley that will depart from Victor Ward Warehouse. The time and cost I do not have.

Nov 12th to Dec 20th Vans Triple Crown of Surfing

25th Season of "Mecca" of Surfing with the kickoff of "Op Pro" at Haleiwa; "O'Neill World Cup & Women's Roxy Pro" at Sunset and the "Billbong Pipeline Masters" at Pipeline.

Dec. 23rd - Sheraton Hawaii Bowl featuring two college teams at Aloha Stadium.

Another Bowl Game - The Aloha Bowl which usually pits the University of Hawaii against a mainland school is usually on Xmas Day, but, right now the date invades me. I believe the game is usually on Xmas Day. Hawaii is bidding provided that they go undefeated this season for a BCS bowl game with a top notch team on the mainland. So we might just see another two different mainland school here during the holidays. The schools brings in alot of fans, booster, band, cheerleaders and etc.

The University of Hawaii Basketball Rainbow Classic is also around Xmas Day. A three day tournament pitting eight top schools from around the country at the Stan Sheriff Arena at the University of Hawaii Lower Campus.

Dec. 31st - New Years Eve

Fireworks at Aloha Tower Marketplace and off shore Waikiki's Kuhio Beach. Fireworks can be viewed along Kuhio Beach as well as your ocean front rooms. Be aware of the fireworks smoke after the event.

Cyndi Lauper will bring in the NYE at the Sheraton Waikiki Ballroom as KC and The Sunshine Band will bring in the NYE at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Other shows will be announced soon. Prices I don't know.

The broadway production of the "Lion King" ends on Dec. 16th after a three month run in Honolulu.

Hope this helps .....

Also, ADDING on September 14th at the Hawaii Theatre Center, Willie K and Eric Gillom in concert. Willie K fans can come out and enjoy a one of a kind concert with up coming Eric Gilliom.
