So since i was too worried about what to pack i forgot to wuthdraw cash from my bank -_____- anyone know where i can get cash back in large quantities without afee
I would not travel with large quantities of cash.
You didn't tell us which bank you have your funds in. You can check on their website to see if they have branches in Hawaii.
Hawaii is full of ATM's.
Front desk or concierge at the Reef should be able to tell you. Wishing I was at the Shorebird right now. Have fun and sing some karaoke!
BofA. Concierge said theres no branches here. I gave up and just went to an ATM. Lol Thanks
Well next time someone asks for help with last minute packing we will have to remember to tell them don't forget your MONEY. Lol. I did google and looks like there is no BofA there. Reminds me to check on Wells Fargo. Have fun and be safe!
Wow, I was incredulous until I checked their website - the second largest bank in the US has no branches or ATM's Hawaii (or Alaska). No ATM affiliations, either. My tiny little local bank allows you to use MoneyPass ATMs without fee anywhere in the country (there are several in Honolulu).
Check with your hotel. The last several stays, our hotels allowed personal check cashing or exchange of travelers checks up to a set maximum per day (it was $200/day on the last trip).
We usually don't use cash for a lot...mostly because everyone takes cards and if you lose it...too bad.
If we need some we get cash back at the grocery. It is usually limited to 60 or 100 dollars but that gets us through.
Nope no BofA or Wells Fargo.
No Wells Fargo, momo.
You can get cash-back at Long's and grocery stores. If I use an ATM, I pull out as much as I can to avoid multiple transaction fees.
You DO have a debit card function to that card, right? Just make a small purchase at one of the stores like Safeway, Foodland, or Walmart and do the cash back option. They usually have a limit like $100-$300 but you could go to multiple ones if you really need that much cash. No fees on either end.
well it's not a lot of money, but Food Pantry grocery store will give $40 back with a debit card purchase.
