Peaceful Retreat around nainital

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are planning for a 3nights 4day trip around Nainital. We are confused to select a place to stay.

Below are our priorities.

2days of peaceful retreat away from main city

A day tour of Nainital main city

We have ramgarh and pangot on our mind.

Please help us finalize the tour.

May think of Bhimtal for stay. It's more serene and peaceful.

See if you like Peora Dak Bungalow - close to Mukteshwar, lovely place to go for pleasant walks and chat with locals as and when you feel like.

You may opt for Sitlakhet. It is a hustle free spot around 55-56km from Nainital.

Nainital is already a peaceful city. You can book hotel little far from roads.

Also bhimtal can be another choice for peaceful stay.

You can stay away from main Nainital city in Bhimtal or Naukuchiatal which is less crowded and noisy. Both are beautiful lakes and offer you boating and other related activities. The Ghodakhal temple is close to Bhimtal, there was also a tea garden on the way!. You can also participate in adventure sports like paragliding near Naukuchiatal if looking for the same. Unfortunately I do not have info on accommodation in these areas but you can easily find them online. Hope this was helpful.
