The pensione- ristorante Monte Piella has both inexpensive rooms and highly regarded locally isnspired food.

To get there from Porretta you have to catch a 787! :-)

Of course for a whole day you could take the train, one way for Bologna or the other for Pistoia... which you probably know if you've worked out how to get to Porrette Terme :-)
