What is the dress code for men and women at the restaurants at Dreams La Romana.
On this page you can see all of the restaurants. Click on the "Hours and Info" button to see the dress code for that one.
Women wore mostly comfy sundresses for dinner and men khaki shorts and polo type shirts. Portifino and The French restaurant require pants and closed shoes for men. Kind of silly because you end up with men in jeans and tennis shoes which looks sloppy compared to the above attire, in my opinion.
Secrets (the adults only version of Dreams) relaxed their closed shoe requirement for men last year and sandals are now allowed so check before packing. Slacks are required in Portofino.
There are only two restaurants that have the strict casual elegance dess code: Portifino and Bordeaux.
I can't seem to find a clear answer to this. In casual restaurants at DLR do women have to wear long capris? Or is it just men that have to wear long bermudas? It seems that if I can wear a swim suit with a wrap I should be able to wear a sleeveless blouse and shorts... But, want to make sure. Also can women wear sleeveless blouses and dresses in casual elegance restaurants? Trying to pack super light! Thanks for your help, in advance!
The sleeves and long bermuda rule is for men. Sleeveless blouses and dresses are a good option for a woman.
Their website list the following for their dress code at the French and Italian which are indoors:
Sneakers/tennis shoes or sandals and dress shirts with short sleeves or shirts are required. Long pants are required for men. No sleeveless shirts or flip-flops allowed.
The others which are outdoors have the following listed:
Bermudas (long shorts or Capri pants), sneakers/tennis shoes and sandals are required. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. No sleeveless shirts for men.
