4 day holiday at Peachland mid of July

We (two of us) are planning a trip to Peachland and surrounding area. We will drive from Burnaby and we plan to spend two nights at Peachland B&B. This is the first time for us to be at that area. Can anyone suggest us a good place to stay and also which route to take? We just want to relax and enjoy the drive and the lake and the sunshine.

Thanks a lot.

Many places to pick from here are few :

Also consider Summerland & West Kelowna.

Check out reviews for Okanagan Oasis B&B and Duck & Pug Lakeshore Suites. Suggest the Hope Princeton for a more leisurely drive. I sure hope the sun has arrived by the time you get up here.

There are essentially two routes to Peachland from the Lower Mainland. For both, you would head out Highway 1 as far as Hope. At Hope, you would either

1. head north on Highway 5 (the Coquihalla) then take Highway 97C (the Connector) east right into Peachland

2. head east on Highway 3 (the "Hope Princeton") to Osoyoos and then take Highway 97 north to Peachland.

Option 1 is the faster route, although most of the time less scenic (often cloudy).

Option 2 is (much) slower, but the more scenic.

You could do a circular route for the trip. Perhaps take the Hope Princeton heading out to Peachland, puttering your way along, particularly through the deserty area around Osoyoos and the vineyards there and further north as you head up Highway 97. Then on our last day, head home by the Coquihalla. In either case, do not leave your departure too late as Highway 1 between Hope and the Metro Vancouver area becomes very busy and hectic as it gets later in the day.

Thank you so much for the advice. So we are going to spend two nights in Peachland and 1 night around Kelowna city centre. We want to visit a winery too. Does anyone know whether there is any sushi restaurant around peachland? Thanks!

Believe there is sushi restaurant in West Kelowna which is about a 10 minute drive from Peachland.
