Tourist Card

Booked through sunwing and the travel agent says we get this on the plane. Is this right?

Yup Travel agent is correct. Fill it out on plane. Really simple.

Fill it in on the plane, they stamp it, you keep half during your trip there and that 1/2 goes back to them on the way out DON'T Lose it....

Just make sure you don't make a mistake filling in the card, because the new one will cost you $16 (or someone said that's $20 now ? ) .

They warned us of that on the plan as well...nothing better than trying to fill a card in on a plane that is jostling around and they tell you don't make a mistake - pressure lol.

They are pretty straight forward now. Were really confusing a few years back.

Carry a pen with you.

At the bottom of my invoice (we are travelling with Sunwing) besides some other comments it states that "10USD per person required for tourist card aboard the aircraft with Sunwing and Signature Vacations." Where do I pay this?

I think that's yet another really old, out-of-date comment that shows up every now and then on literature/brochures/invoices for travel companies. The UK tour companies are especially bad for this.

Ignore it. Have fun.

We travel Sunwing quite frequently. As everyone else has said, you get the tourist card on the plane. It looks like this:
