We are staying in Noja in August next year and wondered if it would be advisable to stay in an air-con room for the nights? Thank you

Possibly. You might get a very hot spell, although it tends to be cooler on the coast if you've got a nice coastal breeze. You'll find lots of places up north won't have it, as it doesn't often get that hot at night, but if you sleep badly with the window open or with heat, then yes, you might want to find somewhere with it.
