“Delayed flight”

We were on our way to a wedding Saturday 24th March at 15:30 in Kloof, Durban. Our flights were booked for 13:35. We received a message on the23rd March that our flight have been delayed to 15:00 and again on the 24th March to 15:30 which already made us late. When we checked in I asked why was our flight delayed and was told it was due to aircraft change, very strange that the new about it one day before our flight?? We were only starting to board the plane at 16:20 and then we had to wait for 6 passengers who did not board and their baggage had to be unloaded. Due to all of this we missed our wedding.

our flight was delayed and we where not informed . it was further delayed whilst we where at the airport . still no one informed us . our luggage was broken into . stuff stolen from our bags and bags damaged

The flight was on time. The flight deck was knowledgeable and kept us update of the weather conditions. The crew was friendly and helpful.

I was very impressed with the friendly cabin crew, spacious leg room and the fact that both flights to Lanseria and back home to Durban left on time and arrived on time.
The flight deck gave regular updates along the way.
Food and drink on sale was a little expensive but not over the top. Although I did not buy anything to eat, the rolls bought by the couple next to me looked fresh and wholesome.

Nowadays there are small differences in the price of the tickets or even the routes that low cost airlines offer SA domestic travels.
I recently flown Kulula, their plaines are not just green in color, but offer the greener, eco friendly Boeing 737-800s in their fleet, which use less fuel, saving a lot in terms of carbon emission.
Legroom noticeably smaller for a taller oke. Compared to orange plains.
Otherwise...

A lighter, more relaxed, less stressful flight back to Lanseria. I think it has much to do with the attitude and service of the onboard and off board staff, Kulula humour still a differentiator but subsided somewhat over the years... and the fact that they don't take themselves too seriously. A no frills airline, something you need, tracking remains a stressful thing for some of us.
