We are on our first holiday in many years and when booking we decided to treat ourselves to Business Class. What a waste of money. The seating in Business Class is very ergonomically poor it was very difficult to talk to my husband as there was a permanent courtesy board between us and he was facing to the left isle and I was facing to the right isle. Not to worry we said we are going on holiday. When we came to return we had a 4 hour 30 minute stop over in Raratonga so we went to use the Air New Zealand Business Lounge only to be told they had no seating available. There was no apology just we have no available seating. Surely Air New Zealand can count how many Business Class customers they have on a particular flight and ensure they have sufficient facilities for those customers or do they just take customers money knowing they cannot provide the services they have sold. This is obtaining money by false pretenses and is very upsetting. It is for sure we will not fly Air New Zealand again.
