Although booked with British Airways, we choose the 10.20 flight from JFK for the arrival time back to the U.K. Compared to the excellent service on the outbound flight with BA, there was no comparison. We were ignored by staff as we stepped onto the aircraft (I've never had that happen before anywhere!), most of the staff looked as if they were half asleep and there wasn't any attempt to help people to their seats. The food and drinks were served as carelessly as if I was in a fast-food outlet and why do I have to listen to their private conversations as they pass? Check-in was as complicated as can be with them trying to sell you upgrades as you enter your details. No staff around to help near bag drops. Helpful lady on desk agreed it was all bad and that we should write-in in the hope it would change (have done). No class whatsoever I'm afraid and I will avoid them again as all costs.

American cancels service to DFW 2 hours before the last flight to DFW on a Friday night. No explanation given. Rebooked on first flight Saturday morning, also cancelled without explanation. Had to cancel my business trip as a result. No weather in the area.

Is not what is use to be, but is a good deal in internal flights

Years ago you received the hole and full atention of stewardesses, now you just receive a pair of earplugs a complimentary beverage and the meal in the middle of flight.

Remember is business class!

Have flown a number of recent American Airlines flights including Phoenix to Newark. Always had great service at the gate and on the craft. No complaints.
