Etihad is my airline of choice and has been for a few years. I love the comfort, kindness of crew and the amenities that come with being a frequent flyer.
Over the years service has dipped and is not up to the Etihad standard of old. Even most recently, I entered the arrivals lounge in Abu Dhabi and made to feel unwelcome; this occurred even as a business class traveller with Gold status.
On my flight home from Abu Dhabi to Manila, my frustrations about service quality was redeemed and my faith in Etihad was once again renewed. Special shout out to Food and Beverage Manager, Sameer Chulani for keeping me loyal to this brand. He was extremely kind, uber-efficient and listened intently to my lounge woes from earlier that day. He went above and beyond in service and care to ensure I had an excellent flight. And I did.
Truly marvellous and I will continue in my commitment to Ethiad because of crew members like Sameer.
