What the heck is wrong with EVA customer service? They list their office hour as 7AM to 3:30PM, but when I came to the airport (which was 1 hour away from my home) I found out the office is open at 7PM. You cannot call them either, I tried calling consecutively from early morning to later in the afternoon and they always turn it off with auto message saying their rep is busy. There is NO email for customer service either so technically if anything happens, you CANT. CONTACT. THEM. AT. ALL. Avoid at all costs!! Btw, there is no option to complain about customer service either.

We chose BR183, 71, because it was at a very competitive price and due to the long layover in TPE, it allowed us a tour to see Taipei. So it was rather a choice by coincidence. But wow! What a great experience.
The service was excellent. Flight attendants respond to calls very quickly, provide drinks, snacks etc. There were toothbrushes available and I even saw people getting slippers - this was an economy flight!
The food was very good. I had a curry on the way to Taipei and pasta with chicken and an omelette with cheese on the way to Munich. Every time with fresh fruit and very nice salads and dessert. Particularly the salads were good and could have almost been served in business if they had been arranged differently. The sandwiches were tasty and not the dried-up type. Also the drink menu was good.
The seats are Economy standard by Recaro. So there is nothing special to mention here. They were sufficiently comfortable and had normal leg space.
The entertainment was the only thing that could be improved. The system itself is very good and also has charging ports for devices, but selection is a little limited when it comes to American movies.
On both flights, we flew with B787 which is not my favorite. I wish they had A350 instead, it that’s a minor detail.
Overall a very good experience and combined with a layover tour really a great choice to get from Japan to Europe. From my experience, only ANA and JAL are comparable to this kind of service in an economy flight.

You put me on 54B and 64B you staff is crazy I will not buy ticket from you again, I will prefer other Airline than your Airline

First time flying EVA Air and my first time paying for a business class ticket for personal use. Really enjoyed the flights. Wonderful staff and very comfortable. I made a huge mistake on my way home and forgot my checked bag in international baggage claim and the staff was really helpful and quickly helped me out. Enjoyed it so much I just signed up for their mileage plan and will be a regular customer.

We are American citizens who have flown fairly frequently with trips to Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania, and Japan recently. We had a TERRIBLE EVA experience, including them misinterpreting the Vietnam visa policy (leading us to reapply for an emergency visa at significant personal cost),at one point separating me in seating from my pregnant wife (only reversed after spending significant time on the phone between two phones calls), not adequately providing me with information about potential upgrades that we were interested in (we were in premium economy and were interested in upgrading to business class in part to make the flight more comfortable for my pregnant wife), and then ignoring me when I submitted these complaints to EVA. I have sent about five messages to them without any substantive response. This is the first airline that I have reviewed, and I would not recommend flying EVA.
