Only direct flight to Brussels from Shanghai but very good experience as using this route at least twice a year
Value for money is very good

None stop from Las Vegas to Beijing. Economy seat includes pillow, blanket, earphones and a bag with: toothbrush, toothpaste, earplugs, eye mask and socks.
Two meals included and special menu for kids. Also, wine and drinks are included at no extra charge.
I recommend to get the extra legroom seat, I Payed $90 extra and it was worth it. I had enough space to stand up in front of my seat without bothering other passengers.
Nice screen for every single seat with movies and video games included at no extra charge.
Flight attendants are very friendly and helpful but their English is quite limited.

After reading Hainan was a 5 star rated airline, we decided to book 2 business class seats from Brisbane to Brussels voa Shenzhen.
Dont do this leg! At Shenzhen you have to exit through customs picking up your luggage, then you need to checkin all over again and go through customs again.
We were in shock. They could not even take out luggage.
The service on the plane was comical. Example, staff would go down one side of the isle setting tables for dining, while another staff member is delivering food down the other isle where the tables had not been set yet? Our meals came out at different times, around 20 minutes apart? I cant believe this airline achieved a 5 star.
The Shenzhen lounge was clean but very ordinary with seating and food offer.

This was the best flight experience that I’ve ever had, on the longest flight I’ve taken. The flight attendants were attentive and charming. The seating was comfortable and my “nook” provided space to work, relax, or to fully recline and sleep. I’m 6’-3” and the reclined “bed” was plenty comfortable. Business class service included a selection of wines, a four-course dinner that was nicely presented, quite tasty, and included real silverware (chopsticks available). Snacks, a nice cheese plate, and fruit were available throughout the flight.
We departed Vegas an hour late, due to traffic, but manage to land, 14 hours later, on-time. Business-class was an extravagance for us, but given the length of the flight, and a very ambitious schedule beginning 3 hours after arrival, it was worth the cost. I’d never flown Hainan Airways before, but will certainly choose them in the future (they are an Alaska Airlines partner).

First time travelling on this airline; very positive experience as was not anticipating this. Service and staff were great, inflight food was also good. Very surprised at the quality of the airline, Would fly with them again.
