Always fly with Jet2 holidays, as they have the best baggage weight. The staff are always friendly and courteous, while providing an efficient service. My recent return flight from Tenerife had very friendly staff and they were pleasant to chat with, while still providing a great service to others.

It was our return flight to Leeds/Bradford, from Pisa, Italy, following a simply wonderful holiday in Lucca. The flight from Pisa was scheduled at 19.55, and passengers were called to gate 22 at 19.10.
From 19.10 until 19.50, the assembled passengers were treated to absolutely nothing. Nothing. We all sat, stood, or walked around, in the waiting area, for no less than 40 minutes without a single word from the airline. No communication whatsoever.
We then boarded, and obviously the flight take off was delayed(from memory about 15/20 minutes), and the flight captain was very apologetic for the delay, and his manner was very calm and relaxing.
However, and this is the crux of the matter, never, at any stage, was the delay, or the reason for it, explained. Now, call me old fashioned, but had there been some explanation, it would have gone a long long way to easing everyone's concerns. Some of us are good fliers, some of us are not. Why oh why do companies, businesses, service providers, just miss the point? Communication makes all the difference. We are not sheep - we are PEOPLE!

Since taking over from Monarch they have improved the service and experience by providing better,top class service. From booking to check-in quick and efficient. There were plenty of staff to check-in with so waiting time was minimal. Comfortable new planes made flight enjoyable.

My wife and I have had numerous holidays over the past 30 years , as a family and also as a couple. For these holidays we have used all of the main stream travel companies. This was our first time travelling on a Jet2 holiday.
Our most recent holiday was to Salou, Spain on 11th September '18. I would like to say that the ease of check in / boarding was exceptional . We found the flight crew very pleasant and attentive . We had ample leg room on board and the flight departed on time.
At Reus airport our greeting by Jet2 staff was pleasant and our transfer went without a hitch.
Our hotel in the resort , (Las Vegas) was everything we could have ask for. Very clean , good food , pleasant staff and in an excellent central location .
Our return journey went exactly as our outward journey. Transfare, check in, boarding, all excellent. Our return flight was again a copy of our outward journey, on time with very pleasant staff.
We can honestly say that we found travelling with Jet2 a pleasure and very professionally managed and we will , without doubt be booking to travel with them again.

The weather in Belfast was extremely windy but the pilot did a great job taking off. The seats are so much more comfortable than Ryanair with a lot more space, the tables are sturdier also than Ryanair. Staff were friendly and helpful, we didn't eat on board so can't comment on food. They didn't weigh bags or measure them in the airport and they allowed a handbag /backpack on board as well as your carry on.
