“NICE the easy way with KLM”

KLM took me home the easy way with a direct flight to Amsterdam from Nice. KLM-partner Air France has a nice lounge at this airport. And the flight, catering and service were very good. KLM likes to be early or on time. Flight left on time and landed early. Good job.

Once again, an uneventful, easy and relaxed flight with KLM. On time departure from Amsterdam. And an early arrival at Lyon. Catering was good with friendly service. Liked it a lot.

We liked the trip going to new york, we were excited, we were ready and we were happy.
On our way back - we encountered a few problems though. Our flight from Amsterdam to Copenhagen had been cancelled due to the big snowstorm (we noticed that only KLM had this problem) - we contacted customer service before our flight out of JFK, she told us that we had to pay for our layover in Amsterdam if we chose to rebook - we declined the kind offer. When we arrived in Amsterdam, we had to stand in a 3 hour line, without food, they did bring out water and chocolate though. Why didnt they just rebook us in advance? They knew we wanted to get to Copenhagen?
We had expected to see a lot of snow - we couldnt see any though...

The flight is in time, food is OK, they serve a lot of drinks.
But they also start to sell the seats on the airplane. If you dont buy a seat (like we did) then maybe you are not sitting with the people you travel with.
For us this was not the problem because on this flight there were some free places.
I dont like that youneed to buy anything for the flight. KLM tries to give a good price, people conpare with other airlines, and then you need to pay extra.
I hope this will not be a new standard

Flight was on time. Very well taken care of. Several sessions of beverages served. Served supper and a breakfast at no extra cost! Flight staff worked very hard which we appreciated. Much better service than our domestic airlines. No salty pretzels on this flight!
