Extremely Dated business class (A340-300). Should have dividers between seats. Seat and beds both uncomfortable / lumpy. Seat continually adjusting the softness level (it has a selector which is controlled by an air source) due to probably a leaking air pipe so continually moving under you. Don’t drop annything down the sides of the seats, you can’t rescue items when they fall under the seat. Entertainment system not obvious to find/use with headphones sporadically jumping to loud volumes. Menus kept appearing every few seconds whilst trying to watch film. Plug sockets didn’t work. WiFi didn’t work. Didn’t have any decent breakfasts left after the first few rows served. Some staff didn’t appear as friendly as other operators.

Lufthansa – abandoned 26 Passengers without Assistance at Schiphol Airport on 15Apr2024

In a harrowing ordeal at Schiphol Airport's Terminal 1, Lufthansa abandoned 26 passengers, including families and couples, were left stranded without accommodation or proper assistance.

The Group’s original flight on 15Apr was cancelled. We were rebooked several times over and the travellers were not informed of the changes. Worst – f we were booked separately. Shockingly, families and couples were inexplicably divided into separate flights, leaving loved ones scattered across different bookings. One minor (17years old) had to fly alone whilst his family (3) were on another flight.

Amongst this group, 10 paxs missed their flight - were stranded at the airport with no flight, no hotel and no meals.
Throughout this ordeal, the group was stranded with no Lufthansa staff around to provide assistance and no contacts. We were lost!!!
Amidst the chaos, desperate attempts to secure accommodation proved futile as nearby hotels were fully booked. With no alternatives, the stranded passengers resorted to spending the night on uncomfortable airport chairs, a far cry from the expected service of a reputable airline.

Next morning we went to Departure Checkin Counter. LH Staff on duty could not offer any explanation. LH could not offer us any room to washup and rest, but offered a meal voucher value €17.
LH also gave us Business Class Lounge Voucher but unfortunately these vouchers were only valid for Munich or Frankfurt. “We are in Amsterdam!!”

Eventually, were rebooked on Turkish airlines TK1954 AMSIST / TK054 ISTSIN

In the wake of this debacle, Lufthansa's handling of the situation has been met with outrage and condemnation. Passengers describe the airline's actions as impassionate, irresponsible, and indicative of a lack of accountability.

Cancelled the return main flight over 14 days in advance without reason so no refund. The connecting flight to home will cost almost 2/3 of the original fee if changed to the next day.

Can't rate my First Class experience with Lufthansa highly enough. From the moment you step into their Flagship first class lounge in Frankfurt, to the moment you disembark at your destination, you feel an elevated level of service (no pun intended). The incredible hard product is complemented by the superior food & beverage offering both on the ground and up in the air. The final element, i.e. the service was the perfect balance of hospitable without being overwhelming.

So bad bad food and not so good of service the flight was so boring and cares about age restrictions only and doesn’t give you sweets instead gives you unnecessary toys and so it keeps if you have a big large bag it will kick it off and send it back to where you were and no special television there is no screen
