Review of Ryanair

Reviewed October 20, 2018

Me and my partner did not buy priority, so we could not select a seat. I made check-in 48 hours before departure, that is as soon as possible, and sistem splits us. I get 11B and she get sit 10E. Seat 10E was absolutely horrible, because airplane does not have an window in this row. The same situation was repeated at the time of return, of course. Anyway, staff tryes to sell you something during the whole flight, and that is annoying. On my experience, other budget airlines provides more comfort.

All in all, it was a typical Ryanair flight. Boarding was civilised due to seat allocation. It was a pity that airlines still permit passengers on board that are already so drunk at 7 o'clock in the morning, that they can barely mount the stairs up to the aircraft. Of course, to make matters worse, these passengers are then served alcohol on board throughout the flight, getting noisier and smellier all the time. On a three and a half hour flight that's no fun at all (except for the drunkards).

Even without a large, extended family of drunken Dubs on board, one would imagine the aircraft's toilets to be well-used during such a long flight. On our flight, it didn't help at all that one of the two rear toilets could not be used because staff stored large, filled refuse sacks in it. The queue of people desperate for the toilet was extensive throughout the flight.

We were unfairly denied boarding at the gate despite having completed check-in at the counter and issued our boarding passes and baggage tag, cleared immigration with valid passports, all this due to the staff mistakingly thought we need a visa to enter London but in actual fact, we do not need one as we are holding Singapore passports. Be careful of what you are buying from them.

I have travelled with Ryanair on many occasions and most of the time I am less than impressed with the service and condition of plane.

BUT on this occasion everything was excellent, all the cabin crew were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much bother, the snacks trolley was fully stocked, flight was on time and the the plane was clean and tidy. Well done Ryanair, it shows you can provide excellent service sometimes just a shame it’s not all of the time

The incoming flight was diverted from Bergerac to Limoges because of fog. People in departures were kept informed of delays by passengers with mobile phone airline tracker apps, not by Ryanair. Eventually Ryanair announced that incoming passengers would be bussed from Limoges to Bergerac and outgoing passengers from Bergerac to Limoges (3 hour coach trip). The fog had disappeared long before this. On arrival in Limoges the Ryanair staff disappeared leaving their passengers to sort everything out. A total delay of over 5 hours, no refreshments were offered, and no help given.
