I normally use SAS when flying to Oslo, and have only had good experiences so far. The staff is really friendly and they have better seating comfort than most other airlines. I have also found SAS to very rarely have any sort of delays or cancellations of flights, which is a big plus.

If you are a SAS Gold member you can also use all of the Star Alliance lounges, which normally serve a wide range of hot and cold food and beverages.

We booked SAS flights as part of a tour of China and the flights were very competitively priced, hence our reason for choosing them.
The first leg from London to Copenhagen was fine. You are in a row of three but in premium economy they only book two of the seats so you have a bit more space.
The SAS business lounge at Copenhagen looks nice when you walk in but the offerings are extremely poor!! Choice of wine is red or white on tap, meagre food and limited soft drinks.. one of the poorest business lounges I've been in.
The flights from Copenhagen to Beijing.. the seats were very comfortable, fully reclining flatness with massage seats and little shelving for book etc. The staff were pleasant, but didn't go out of their way to offer you a drink and had a slightly curt manner about them.
The entertainment was really poor!! A dated selection of films with no new films at all! I expect at least two new movies on an 8 and half hour flight in business class.
The food, well I ate the salad and a roll which were fine.
Lastly the seat belts were like car seat belts with a strap diagonally across the body which you have to wear for take off and landing, not at all comfortable.
All in all a pretty poor flight. They could learn a lot from Emirates, Etihad and Qatar to name a few..

On European flights, SAS is always noticeably more expensive than other options, which is why I avoided it for a long time. After getting a fairly pricey ticket I flew with them across Europe via Copenhagen. Everything was ok, but that's there is to it. No in flight service and average leg room.

I know that SAS has to compete with low cost airlines like Norwegian but when you fly overseas and they tell you that you are only allowed one free soft drink with your meal it just feels really cheap ! Service was ok but the food was terrible except for the little dessert. For the price I paid I think it's ok value but nothing more than that.

Fram Copenhagen to Miami 10 hours flight but perfect to fly direct, service was OK onboard and the food was great, WIFI worked fin all the way with out any drop outs, the Chief purser stopped and welcomed us onboard die to our Pandion Status nice
