Review of Saudia Airlines

First and the last time I am using the service of Saudia airlines. Took the plane from Munich to Mauritius and back. After I booked my flight, it was almost impossible to book an asian vegetarian meal even though I was trying weeks before my flight. The chatbot was of no help. Then I contacted customer service but still on my flights from Munich to Mauritius, I did not get any food at all. Just some snacks. On my flight back, the same happened. Only after asking at the airport, I was successful to get an asian vegetarain. Nevertheless it was only on my way from Mauritius to Jeddah. From Jeddah to Munich the same happened as on the previous flights. No food for me. So in total, out of 4 flights, no food on 3 flights. Also, online entertainment did not work on both the flights back. With a flight of about 13 hours with a layover of 8 hours in Jeddah, I would have expected a better service. As an alternative I would recommend Emirates. I've been flying via Emirates for years and did not have any trouble till now. Food is even available for a layover for over 4 hours. The only difference with saudia is that it is cheaper. Nevertheless I would not mind paying more for a much better service.

Less than a 2-hour flight but we got an A330 with in-flight entertainment, in our country less than 2 hours flight we got B737 or A320. Stewards were effective yet not the best might be because must handle passengers in short hours.

The toilet is not the best, cleanliness needs more attention but still OK, food average and the most important is on-timing.

Excellent customer service. My seat number from Mumbai to Jeddah was 41L. THE air hostess (miss Aryana….i don’t know whether I spelt it correctly), was excellent.Need improvement on food side.

I tried to book a flight on their website. After entering my credit card number it told me it could not be processed, to try again later. I gave up. However, the transaction went through and the bank thankfully stopped it as suspicious. By then I had booked on another airline.

The level of Saudi Arabian Airlines has been declining continuously for years. Before boarding the plane, employees do not take into account families with young children and the old people and leave them waiting in queue for a long time. I was the first in queue, I had my daughters with me. One of them was sick and very tired, my second daughter was small. However, they did not accept me on the plane and put me at the end of the queue because our place was in Zone 4.
Bad service, a dirty plane, and often untasty food. After all this, at the end of the flight, they offer you a cup of juice and chips to satisfy you. It is a mockery that offends Saudi Arabia. Ticket prices are very high.
