I was more than happy with my experience flying Sri Lankan Airlines. The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was great, better than I had experienced on an earlier flight with another airline. The plane wasn't full for one flight but was for the other. Both times the bathrooms were kept clean.
I booked a bulkhead seat in economy which only cost $50 NZ extra and it had great leg room. It didn't have a bathroom close to it which was good
I didn't find the entertainment screen easy to navigate and the movie selection wasn't that good. Other than that I couldn't fault my flight
I'd had to change the date of one flight, using their app I was surprised it only cost me $100 to change. The app is easy to use
I love the uniforms the ladies wear, they are so elegant

This is my first time with Sri Lankan airline, service was okay but my honest opinion it was THE WORST AIRLINE I've ever experienced. There were insects crawling on the walls of the flight, little leg room, the toilets were disgusting not clean at all !! and the food was mid. this may be a little over but had to wait an 1hr for my luggage to arrive once it came the cover I had put to protect my luggage was taken off and left it next to it, and I know the workers are trying their best however I don't appreciate this especially when I had no problems with other airlines.

This was my first (and now last) flight with Sri Lankan airlines,I will never EVER fly with them again. They cancelled my flight to Male which meant I had to book another flight with flydubai to get me there in time for my 5 day holiday. This cost me extra money. Then they called my return flight so I had to book a last minute one way return flight at more cost. Then they cancelled my daughters return flight to Sydney, then only put her on the following day after much argument, and then left her luggage in Melb.

Sloppy, unprofessional, no regard for customers. I've given up trying to get any compensation. No one will respond (although one contact gave me a Claim Number) but a month later no-one will give me an update on status. I expect there is nothing happening. Absolutely pathetic. I've told 20 people never to fly with them and will continue to do so forever,

Exceptionally professional service rendered by the cabin crew. I travelled with a 2,5 year old and 6months baby alone. I felt confident all throughout my flight because of the support they provided.

Absolutely horrendous in flight and grpund service. Pushed aside for the flight captain to pass. Some passengers allowed bottles of water some not. Favourable Bin storage given to some passengers. Cabin crew continuously pushing and bumping passengers when walking in aisles. Drink offered twice with extremely poor meal service the cabin crew spent their time chatting to each other. Unlike other airlines water was not offered through an 11 hour flight. Toilet dirty not tidied by crew. Will not fly Sri Lankan again unless managed by another airline. Absolute disgrace.
From the Captain to the ground and cabin crew they fail to understand that the customer is paying their wages They are too full of their own importance.
