We paid over £100 for extra leg room and then we managed to get a bid for upgrade to business class so paid for business. We were advised that we would get a refund from customer service regarding the paid for extra leg room. We contacted Sri Lankan Airlines on 28th June for a refund, they kept sending us emails saying they were dealing with it. It is now 10th September and still no refund. This morning they told us that the booking reference is not theirs but British Airways. Their what's app chat line is useless and they cannot help and keep asking us to deal with Customer service (who is ignoring our emails). My husband is disabled and we had to pay to get a disabled chair and helper in Sri Lanka before flying business class!
