May I take a opportunity to My sincere thanks to Srilankan Airline staff , ( at Maldives Airport) , My booking has some issue on that , That was my very emergency trip and I called ground staff ask for help , my ticket agent couldn’t help me with that issue , But Srilankan airline gave a good reply and that issue was corrected ,This was my one the best time to encourage the best service , Special thanks Mr.Suhail , Who repose me well and made my trip smoother .we know that srilankan airline had some hard time for their operation some months ago , but this is making them more strong to come back .My best wishes to Srilankan airline.

This airline is an absolute hidden gem! Hands down the friendliest cabin crew that we have experienced - right from the boarding door, they were engaging and wanted to ensure we had a comfortable flight. The food was great and heavily influenced my the local culture of Sri Lanka. Don't forget to try the tea!
Whilst all Sri Lankan Airlines staff were friendly and helpful - we do have to shout out the the crew on our flight for making it one of the most memorable flights we have enjoyed. Thanks Roshan, Sanuri, Elda, Anudewni! I will actively search to make Sri Lankan airlines part of my future travels!

Coach class from Heathrow to the Maldives and this is the main flight to Colombo.
Airbus 330 was around 70% full and I had two free seats free next to me as a result.
Lounge and Priority boarding free due to status were a bonus.
Originally as bought it had a tight connection but they increased the flight duration possibly via a route change and this added about four extra hours to the trip.
Booking direct with the airline was such a mess I had to use an agent.
Online check in was available and status got early seat selection, but I still had to get a manual boarding pass at the airport along with a physical lounge pass
Food on board good, service reasonable and legroom ample. Touch screen entertainment had a mind of it's own and refused to sow flight maps etc.
Lounge in CMB was small but had good quality food

The aircraft was downgraded and our hand luggage was also interlined at the check in counter. We were asked to take our laptops out and put into smaller bags. I didn't carry an extra padllocks and oh what a hazzle. Why did the management of Airlanka inform the customers at the check in counter. This is also another dirty game they 're playing to cheat customers. Why the "F" we fly this airline by paying good money. This is the first time i flew this cursed airline and jolly well will be the last.Theytreat customers like bloody dirt. SHAME ON THIS BLOODY AIRLINE . To hell with this Airline. Pl ground all the bloody planes without cheating customers .!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤧🤧🙄

We paid over £100 for extra leg room and then we managed to get a bid for upgrade to business class so paid for business. We were advised that we would get a refund from customer service regarding the paid for extra leg room. We contacted Sri Lankan Airlines on 28th June for a refund, they kept sending us emails saying they were dealing with it. It is now 10th September and still no refund. This morning they told us that the booking reference is not theirs but British Airways. Their what's app chat line is useless and they cannot help and keep asking us to deal with Customer service (who is ignoring our emails). My husband is disabled and we had to pay to get a disabled chair and helper in Sri Lanka before flying business class!
