“Great location on a beautiful island”

Turks and Caicos is a wonderful island getaway. Beautiful beaches with crystal clear blue water, some really great restaurants and friendly people all within a 3 hour direct flight from New York.
The Tuscany has a great location and very comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. All the staff are the most friendly and helpful you could hope for. Each 'apartment' comes with 3 rooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom and bathroom are at the level you would expect to get at a very good quality hotel. The kitchen is very well equipped including a blender for making the afternoon cocktails with! The beach, with its beautiful white sand, is just a short walk from the room. The beach, even over the busy Xmas/New Year period was never completely busy and we always found good space and beach chairs. (Although that didn't stop many people, as has become the unfortunate norm from feeling they have the right to 'reserve' chairs with a towel first thing in the morning. In this instance it included a large group making a block booking each day to ensure they were next to the volleyball net that they wanted to dominate).
Things to bear in mind are for the location and the property are:
1. Rent a car
2. Room availability was not immediate. We had to wait until after 5.00 pm to get ours
3. The only food and drinks are the ones you buy and have in your room. There are no restaurants or bars at the Tuscany
4. Request a top floor, or at least be prepared to hear the noise of your neighbours above you since the floors are wood and carry every sound of footsteps and moving chairs.

“Perfect Paradise Vacation”

Loved, loved, loved The Tuscany! My husband, 8 yr old son and my mom stayed from Good Friday through Wednesday, April 27th and we will definitely return! This is a small boutique resort with an absolutely dedicated and attentive staff. Both Terria and Shawnie were superb and could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. Thanks for the welcome drink and for making our stay the best it could be! Attention to detail is something they do without missing a beat! Even though there is no restaurant on site, we had the villa pre stocked which I hghly recommend. All utensils were available so cooking, even though on vacation, was no problem.
My son made friends instantly with visitors like us as well as with kids who "lived" on premises (owners on vacation). Everyone was friendly...even the taxi drivers. (Ask for Mr. Virgil to take you around).
The pool was great and the beach was perfect! Bring swim shoes as the shells in the water may be a little hard on delicate, pedicured toes :-) You have to go out a little to get to the soft sand, but the water is calm and three different shades of turquoise so it was perfect. It was like having a private beach as it was never crowded. Ample chairs and umbrellas were available to accomodate everyone. One day my mom had the beach to herself...talk about peace and serenity!
My son couldn't get enough of the pool, and although not a swimmer, we had no problems with him in the pool since it was only 4 ft 6 in at its deepest. My son says whoever is responsible for the pool needs a promotion!
Only two grills on property, but that was never a problem and we had no issues grilling steaks, and hamburgers and hot dogs for all the kids the day before we left (no sense in wasting good food that we weren't going to take home with us and the kids and other parents loved it!)
The accomodations were better than we could have hoped. The furnishings, the views and the abundant space were great. Watching sunsets on the screened patio was romantic and even with Mom and son present, almost felt like a second honeymoon! Ony 5 floors in each of the two buildings and only 3 condos per floor (we stayed on the 4th) and I swear I never heard any other guests in their condos (although I know they were there) so privacy was exceptional.
Met up with a dear friend who now lives on TCI and he took us out to dinner and for drinks our last night. Very enjoyable!
Would recommend The Tuscany to anyone with children or without who want intimate 5 star accomodations, great staff and all details attended to for a fabulous getaway at a great value for the price!
