Traveling with my wife and 17-year-old and 15-year-old daughter. Since my son needs to eat every two hours because he’s a growing 17 yo boy it’s necessary for us to find lodging with a kitchen. If you’re forced to eat every meal out in Provo you’ll be spending over $500 a day on food. For a family looking for something other than a big expensive resort I hIghly recommend this hotel.

It is not directly on the beach but it is less than a five minute walk to Grace Bay. There is an area with nice lounge chairs set aside specifically for the guests of this hotel. It is also less than a one minute walk to some of the better restaurants and bars in the area.

We were in room number two. Two level townhouse with two bedrooms upstairs as well as a full bathroom. Downstairs was a pull out couch, kitchen, dining area and a half bath. The master bedroom upstairs had a porch overlooking the garden and pool and the downstairs had sliders going out to the gardens and pool area.

We made a few trips to the grocery store to fill up the refrigerator so the kids always have something to eat. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything but a dishwasher. The place was clean and well-maintained. Parton of this hotel was damage from the hurricane but the owners Joe and Debbie are working diligently to rehab those rooms. The entire place is built around a well manicured garden with a pool in the middle. This is a great gathering place to hang out and to meet some of the other guests.

Joe and Debbie have owned this hotel for less than a year but it’s obvious that they’re working very hard on making this one of the nicer, smaller hotels on the island. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone on a budget or for families like ours, who try and stay away from the big crowds and big resorts. We much prefer to explore on our own and eat at the local restaurants and frequent all of the beaches on the island.

Hurricane damage is not visible from the outside it’s basically water damage in some of the rooms which obviously they’re not renting until they have been repaired. He should not be a concern at all for anyone thinking about staying here. In fact, when those rooms are done though probably be the nicest rooms in the hotel.

If we return to the Turks and Caicos we will definitely stay at this hotel again. In fact, I look forward to seeing what Joe and Debbie do with it in the coming years.

Grace Bay is the downtown of Providencial and we were lucky to stay at the Island club which is in the heart of it all.
Beach chairs and umbrellas were available to us at no charge and a little shopping cart to get our groceries.
Grocery store and dozens of shops and restaurants within walking distance

Room Tip: The owners make the place. Awesome people going that extra to give you a great holiday

Two of my daughters and I stayed at Island Club in early March and had an absolutely terrific time! This is my second visit to T&C and I can't wait to go back. After doing considerable research, I decided to book at this lovely spot. The vast majority of the reviews on TripAdvisor are spot on. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, well located spot, book here. The owners, Joe & Debbie, are absolutely fantastic hosts and I am very envious & impressed with what they have done and will be doing with this property. As others have said, it's a short walk to the #1 beach in the world and it is centrally located with several great bars and restaurants nearby. A rental car is definitely not necessary.

The Complex--it has a large courtyard full of colourful, flowering bushes and palm trees around a sparkling pool with pathways throughout to the units that fringe the peaceful "secret garden" that is at the centre of this smaller, family run resort. There are 2 bedroom, 2 storey units and several studios. The 2 bedroom condos have upper and lower private porch areas--- the units are spacious, nicely furnished, super clean and provide all the usual necessities as well as a barbecue. There are several washers and dryers available on site.
The Location--Island Club Turks is within a 5 min. walk to over a dozen top notch restaurants and many shops as well as the nicely stocked, delightfully staffed Graceway Gourmet grocery store(a pull along canvas tote is provided in the condo).
The resort is directly across the street from the best early morning coffee/breakfast spot Shay Cafe as well as Kalookis which is loved by locals and tourists alike offering delicious authentic island food from breakfast through dinner.
--a 5 minute stroll takes you to a stunning stretch of Grace Bay beach where there are plenty of new beach loungers provided for Island Club guests.
The Innkeepers-- When you come across excellent people running a wonderful resort it makes for an exceptional vacation....the owners and their family and friends are respectful, entertaining and kind with the guests and staff...the very pleasant and very efficient housekeepers and groundskeepers were always happy and happy to help.
Overall--We are beach bums that love the feeling of having our own little spot while on vacation--the combination of a smaller tropical garden resort run by truly kind people and just a stroll away from the most breathtaking beach made for an absolutely outstanding experience.
MUCH love and gratitude to the folks of Island Club Turks..you are THE BEST!!

Initially when we pulled up to the hotel, we were surprised by the exterior of the building. The photos that we had seen on multiple websites, were beautiful and showed a hotel that was well maintained. However visitors should not be turned away by the outside, the owners have done a great job renovating the hotel and have plans for more projects in the future.

While we were staying there, we saw that one of the buildings was currently under construction. There were no issues with noise, and we had a very pleasant stay there. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room had many kitchen items that made it easy to prepare meals there. Additionally there is a grill, which is a very nice amenity.

The inside space with the pool is absolutely beautiful and feels like its own little oasis. Since there are not a lot of guests at the hotel, this area never felt too crowded or overwhelming. There were noodles, inflatable tubes and more available to all guests.

The Island Club is centrally located to the beach, restaurants and shops. The location is a great perk as guests can easily get to many places without a car. Our family had a fantastic stay at this location and would recommend it to others!
