My girlfriend Penny and I spent our Labor Day Holiday at the Tuscany. Our plane was late so we arrived much later than scheduled that Friday night. Nevertheless the manager herself greeted us when we arrived. However, her hospitality went far beyond the greeting. For example because of the lateness of the hour it was too late for pizza delivery. She drove us in her personal car to town to Danny Buoys. She then arranged transportation with "J" to pick us up and bring us back that's service! Everything was immaculate and clean. One of the things that struck me was the employees really love working with each other. As a business owner I notice staff cohesiveness wherever I go.
Since this was the low season there were not many people there and I loved it! Our service was par excellent. The air went out in the Master Suite about 9 pm. They were there in 15 minutes and started working on it.
The manager's assistant scheduled all our dinner reservations and excursions. Everything was great except the parasailing. The gentleman didn't show up at the dock but that wasn't their fault. The beach was exquisite! The deck, beach chairs, umbrellas etc were all well kept. The grounds gentlemen even moved our chairs and umbrella so as to cover us from the sun. I read someone else complained about the pool. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool.
This place rightfully so is called "paradise"; however, at the Tuscany it's not just due to nature it's also due to the nature of the special people who work there and create an unforgettable experience.

It was my pleasure to take you to Danny Buoys! You and your girlfriend needed to have something to eat after your arrival! Thank you, too, for the wonderful review and, specifically, your keen observation of how much our employees enjoy working together! I feel very privileged to work with all of the employees at The Tuscany. We are really more like a "family" as all of us want to make our guests' stays as memorable as possible! Our boutique resort is beautiful and we know that our guests will love the accommodations but it's the five-star service that sets us apart and truly completes the package! We look forward to seeing you again next year!

We spent Labor Day weekend at the Tuscany and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The property is beautifully maintained and its particular stretch of Grace Bay beach is exquisite and not busy at all. We really felt as though we had the beach to ourselves.

Much has been written about the exceptional service at the Tuscany, and I regret to say that we came away less impressed with that aspect of our stay than many others who have reviewed it previously. Our visit took place during a very slow period for the island; there weren't many people out and about at all. And two of the more senior managers of the property were on vacation during our stay there, so perhaps that has something to do with it. But a few things that we found wanting:

-The managers at the Tuscany offered to arrange our rental car for us, so we decided to use the service they suggested and confirmed several times via email that our rental would include a toddler carseat for our daughter. When we arrived at the airport, there was no carseat in the car; the service rep maintained that it was never requested, and that in order for us to get it we would need to drive the length of the island and either pick it up ourselves or have it delivered to the resort. (Which is basically the same distance away.) We didn't make a huge fuss and decided to cut our losses and drive away without the carseat, but we did it at the expense of our daughter's safety and we hate that we had to make that choice. We don't typically drive on the left-hand side of the road, so it wasn't as though the 20-minute trip was without risk.

-We have a toddler, and had intended to stay in and cook throughout our stay. Upon arriving to the Tuscany, we attempted to make dinner in the kitchen and discovered that the oven was broken. (The computer panel on the front was totally shot.) Management gave us a key for the apartment next door so that we could use that oven. It was a fine stopgap for the evening, but it was inconvenient. After that we never heard anything else about the oven until I flagged down a member of the cleaning staff to ask for help using the clothes dryer. She couldn't get it to work, so she called a repairman. He figured out the problem, and I asked him directly to fix the oven. He came back the *following* day and fixed it. So for two of the four nights of our stay, we had no working oven in our apartment. And there didn't appear to be any effort to fix it until I appealed directly to the repairman. Also, the broken oven was known to the cleaning staff before our arrival, which makes me wonder why give us that unit at all?

-The resort highlights the beautiful, big bathtub in the master bathroom, but the internal drain stopper on ours didn't function 90% of the time and the water drained right out. This was a problem for us as we were trying to bathe our daughter several times a day after being out in the beach. I didn't bother trying to fix this, because I had already had to deal with the oven and the clothes dryer, and I was on vacation. So I let it go.

-Part of the reason we chose the Tuscany was because of the beautiful pool in addition to the beach. We were only able to use it once in the early morning because the water was stiflingly hot all the other times we tried to enter. This may be due to the hot sun and not any internal heating of the pool, in which case it's no one's fault. But if it's being intentionally heated, it shouldn't be. We spoke with another family visiting at the same time, and they expressed the same frustration. The pool was too warm to enjoy at all.

-There is supposed to be cold bottled water on the beach, but we had to go to the front desk to ask one day for them to bring any out, and then on the other days when we were there swimming later in the afternoon it was inexplicably taken away while we were still out on the beach in the hot sun.

These may seem to some like petty complaints, but when you spend this much per night on the #1-rated resort on Trip Advisor, you want the amenities to be in working order. The other family we spoke to at length during our stay had similar issues with basic things like no batteries in any of the remote controls, and a requested and confirmed grocery stock-up being forgotten by staff. When the family (also with a young child in tow) arrived after their long journey to Provo, there was only one hour left before the grocery store closed and they didn't have a car to drive.

Before I close this, I want to highlight a few things we really appreciated, like the excellent cleaning staff. The rooms are immaculate and well-proportioned; we loved having the screened in outdoor porch as well as the spacious inside dining table for meals. Each day when we went out to the beach the cleaning person came in and did a *fantastic* job with the unit. (We felt terrible because on our last day there she came and cleaned in the morning while we were at the pool, as she was leaving the unit my husband happened to come back up and told her we were checking out later that day. The front desk had never told her, and since we had several more hours in the unit that included showers and lunch with our daughter, she was forced to clean it twice in one day. We were sorry about that and tipped her accordingly, but it should have been communicated to her by the front desk.)

We also appreciated that they gave us a late checkout, which allowed us to enjoy the day before our flight later in the afternoon. That was really helpful.

Despite all of this, we had a wonderful visit to Turks and Caicos, and we will likely be back, and be back to the Tuscany as well. The beach is beautiful, and we appreciated the flexibility and space that the condo unit was able to afford us.

We really love the Providenciales, so easy to get to, so beautiful and unspoiled. Previously we went to Beaches with the kids, this trip just us. The Tuscany is good for families and couples, plenty to do and see for all. Very class act resort from entry until end. Rooms are fantastic, and we cannot wait to go back! The second time visiting a place you love is always sweeter, you get to scout out room locations & amenities to better your knowledge on what room & what location to book.

The Tuscany was like taking a trip to paradise. The staff was so polite and helpful - like family. The views were perfection - like heaven... and the entire experience was one in which I will never forget. You MUST stay here. My family has stayed in at least 10 places in the Caribbean and none even compares to this experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in W102 - was a ground floor condo looking out onto the beach. We were able to walk right out of our door onto the beach!

We are thrilled that you consider The Tuscany to be at the top of the resorts you have stayed in the Caribbean! Our ground floor oceanfront units are wonderful in that it's an easy two minute walk to our pool and of course, the boardwalk is right outside your screened in porch! We hope that you return again in 2016!

The facility was great. The staff was very accommodating. The General Manager, Teria, helped local caterer (Ajay Vyas - Local Indian & Chinese restaurant part owner & manager) organize four nights of fun filled events - great food, drinks & fantastic music) at Tuscany. Ajay Vyas and Teria made this a memorable event for the family.

Room Tip: All condos are spacious and have great view of vast, deep blue ocean.
