Our room was located just above the reception and there was very loud because of an animation from 4 pm till probably 1 am. Earplugs improved this situation. The room was quite big and there was a kitchenette, but no plates and dishes. Bathroom was bad, there was mold in a shower, a toilet was leaking, furthermore there was a smell of a musty water. It seems that the hotel cut expenses and they don't have enough employees. Everyone is friendly and helpful, however there was 1 light bulb missing in the room above the bed, we asked for a new one, but it was not replaced. Breakfast was bad, pastry, jam, bread, sometimes butter, ham and drinks. No hot food. And there was a problem with food temperature during lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner were surprisingly good (except meat), great eggplants, focaccia, squids, fish, pasta, but everything was lukewarm at best. Starters, salads, fruits were extremely cold, just from the fridge. There was a microwave so one could warm ones food, but for me it was strange. Beach is good and sea is perfect, it is easier to use a hotel bus to reach the beach. Please note, that there is no hotel bus on Sunday. Personnel works really hard and I really appreciate their efforts, despite this it is not 4 star hotel. It can be an option, if it will be improved.

Room tip: Rooms in a Scirocco part are quieter

The hotel is a modern flatlike structure standing in a very quite and very accessible position. Not faraway from the beach, there's a comfortable free parking. The rooms are not luxous or elegant, they rather lokk like normal residential rooms, anyway the rooms are equipped enough. MAybe the bathroom is rather small; The service is not too bad, maybe the animation personnel is a little bit disordered. Of course, the Hotel area is tranquil but a little bit isolated but you can easily reach the downtown of the town on foot or by bike.

This could be a nice hotel but for the constant loud music. To start the day the animation team have blaring and I mean blaring loud music for a couple of hours. So loud You can't even talk to one another. Then in the afternoon it starts all over again. Then in the evening the music is so loud the doors of the room are vibrating and it's now 2.34am and no sign of it stopping. Complained at reception, they turned the volume down a bit but it's still thumping away. Not everyone comes on holiday to be up half the night partying, some people come to rest and relax.....no chance of that here. Very disappointed. Hope it's not going to happen every night.

After a day on the road and tired of continuing on, we followed the signs to the 4-star Stella Marina Hotel for a one-night stop. It is located in an unattractive residential area on the edge of town, offering large apartment style rooms with equipped kitchenettes in two five year old buildings. Ample free parking is available on site as are recreational facilities we did not explore.
Check-in was handled efficiently by the English speaking receptionist, with a room facing the street assigned to us. We asked for a quiet room, and it indeed was since it appears the sidewalks in town get rolled up at nightfall. Moreover, the number of cars in the parking lot could be counted on one hand, suggesting barely enough guests to pay to keep the lights on.The room with French shutters on the doors, came with two comfortable single beds pushed together to make a king-size bed, plus a single bed, two couches that could serve as further beds, dining table with four chairs, safe, TV with international channels, wall mounted A/C with remote control, and a fridge(not stocked), all well lit and clean. On a positive note, this is the first hotel with a stone tile floor we have encountered to have put felt gliders on chair legs to eliminate typical noise from moving chairs, keeping those in a room below awake. The design of the bathroom is a joke, a 5x5 foot cubicle in which one can barely turn around held a stall shower, W.C. and the obligatory bidet. Black mold on the grout of the shower pan points to substandard housekeeping. A separate sink stand with a mirror offered little space to place things, and towels were rather hard and scratchy, not in keeping with four star hotel standards.
We visited the deserted restaurant intending to have dinner, but found it to have no menu to review beforehand, rather the lonely staffer told us he would cook anything we may want. Instead we chose to drive into the town center for a pleasant meal. Breakfast served from 7AM was minimalistic at best.
All in all, while we had a decent night of sleep, it is hard to imagine anyone would seek to stay at this hotel in its location for any length of time. Given the price we paid in mid-May, it can also hardly be considered a good deal by bargain seekers, except perhaps a family with lots of children. Should we be in the area again, we definitely would stay on the road and pass this hotel up.
