This property and island isn't for everyone! If you want wifi, nightlife, restaurants, luxury then stay near tourist destinations (drunk tourists and noise). If you want to experience the simplicity of Croatian island life with its raw beauty, slow pace, and subtle enjoyments like AC being replaced with the sounds of the sea, strawroof ceiling terrace, incredible scenery, pebble beaches, and endearing local residents - then you are in for a treat. It is 2 hours by ferry from Dubrovnik, plus 15 min water taxi. The accommodation is simple and basic, its peculiarities make up its charm, while providing everything one needs for a week of relaxation. The location is superb and Dani is the ultimate host and helped us find a boat that allowed us to easily go to Korcula and back. We loved spending the mornings on the terrace, afternoons at the beach, and late afternoons exploring and having dinner at Lumbada or Korcula. There was one small cafe on island with great calamari and octopus salad on the island, along with wonderful service and charm. I would definitely go back. We had 7 people including 3 children (4,8,10) and two elderly (76,78). It was very safe and had accessiblity as long as you can get on and off boats.
